Snow Swirled

Today I have a card that was inspired by Sandi MacIver over at Stamping and Blogging. I think this card is pretty but it is lacking something.  Sandi used Snowflake Soiree and I think that set just gives  a better overall effect (at the time I made this card, I didn't have Snowflake Soiree).  The snowflake images are bigger and stand out more, although some may like a card that is softer, like this one.  After embossing my images onto my Shimmery White cardstock, I sponged on Baja Breeze and then, Not Quite Navy.  Then I stamped more images with Not Quite Navy. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig for perfect placement of my greeting!

Tracy

My First Video!

Today I have my first video for you! I am VERY NERVOUS about the whole thing but what is it they say, you grow when you jump out of your comfort zone? Well I'm definitely out of my comfort zone!! For those of you who follow my blog, I've been talking about this for a long time. I am so happy that I've finally done it and I know that my videos will just keep getting better.  The video is about two minutes long but you wouldn't believe how many takes it took! Hours and hours!! Good grief! I can laugh at it now!

I decided that my first video would be to show you how to use the Stamp-a-ma-jig (#101049).  This is a tool that I had for a LONG time before I started using it on a regular basis (just recently). It really is a great tool for perfect placement of stamped images.  I hope the video helps you if you've been intimidated to use your Stamp-a-ma-jig!  You can find it on page 7 in the 2012-2013 SU! catalog.  Also check out page 37 for written directions.

Thanks for stopping by!

Melon Mambo Field Flowers

Today I used this stamp set, Field Flowers, for the first time. I've had it for a long time but I think I shied away from it because I knew I would have to use my Stamp-a-ma-jig and that intimidated me.  But really, it is not a hard tool, at all, to use.  I was able to position my flowers exactly where I wanted them.  I even used it for my greeting.  So easy!  I cut out an extra flower and placed it on top of my top flower with dimensionals.  Love the look!

Thanks for stopping by!  Let me know if you have any questions!
