Thank You Gift Set

I made this gift set for someone at Christmas. I used Bella Bleu designer paper (page 162 in the catalog) for the first time as well as my Big Shot (I love that machine). It is hard to tell but the butterflies and flower have blue rhinestone brads in the center. If you click on each card you will be able to see a close up. The first picture is the box I made to put the cards and envelopes into. I used the same paper on the inside of my pen. Thank you for visiting!!

More Fancy Favor Boxes

I know that Christmas has come and gone but just wanted to share these little bags I made to put Xmas candy in. I made them very quickly and if I had more time I would have "decorated" the fronts. The red one uses flocked paper which you can still purchase but only until January 4th. It could even be used on a Valentines Day card. The paper can be found on page 21 in the Holiday Mini catalog. If you would like to purchase it, email me or visit my Stampin' Up website.

The new Occasions Mini catalog goes live on January 5th. There are so many new items!! It is very exciting!! Thanks for visiting!

Fancy Favor Treat Bag

I made this little bag yesterday using the Stampin' Up! Bigz XL Fancy Favor die. I've had it for a few months but this was the first time I used it. It is made with Merry Moments Designer paper. I made the handle out of cardstock and attached it using my Crop-A-Dile, which by the way, is a very fun little gadget! The bag is stuffed with York Peppermint patties. YUM!

Dasher

Here is a card that was pretty quick and easy using the Dasher stamp which is on the very last page of the Idea Book and Catalog. I also used Christmas Cocoa Designer Series paper in the Holiday Mini Catalog. If you like this paper, you can only order it until January 4th! I'm not sure if you can see the Dazzling Diamonds on Dasher's antlers but if you click on the image, you will be able to see it close up! Thanks for stopping by!

Here is a variation of a card I posted on September 30th.

I'm Back

It feels good to be posting again. My dad passed away on October 2nd. Losing my father has been one of the hardest things I've had to deal with. His health had been declining for quite some time but imagining life without him was something I just pushed away because it was too hard to deal with. Life won't be the same without my wonderful father. It has been hard to get back into stamping but I am ready. I hope to start creating and posting real soon. Thank you for visiting!

Thinking of You

I just finished making this card tonight. I got a chance to use my Big Shot and that is always fun. I found the inspiration for this card on Patty Bennett’s site but the card was actually made by Barb Thomas. If you would like to see the original, click here and scroll down. I knew that I wanted to use different colors and you wouldn't believe how long it took me to decide what colors I wanted and what went together. I'm happy with it and think I would like to try some other combinations as well. I love the Stampin' Up! punches and you will find that I always use at least one for every project I do. For this card I actually used four of them!

Here are the supplies I used:

Paper: Garden Green, Lovely Lilac and Brilliant Blue cardstock, Flock Together Designer Series Paper

Ink: Basic Black Classic

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes

Accessories: Scallop Oval punch, Trio Flower punch, Large Oval punch, Eyelet Border punch, Big Shot machine, Sizzlits Little Leaves, Sizzix Embosslits Simple Flower, gold brads, Stampin' Dimensionals, Paper Piercer, Snail adhesive

If you have any questions, or would like to place an order, please feel free to email me! You can also visit my Stampin' Up! website (the link is below). You'll be able to see our current promotions! Thanks for stopping by!

Matchbook Gift Card Holder

I just finished making this card tonight and am going to give it to a friend for her birthday tomorrow. I saw this idea at Andrea Walford’s site. She has so many wonderful ideas on her site and I check it daily. I made a few minor changes to the card but if you would like to see her version as well as a video tutorial, visit Andrea’s site here.

This card is supposed to resemble a matchbook, don’t know if you can tell by the pictures. There are two staples at the bottom but I covered those because I didn’t want to stamp my sentiment directly on the cardstock. I used an envelope inside to place the gift card into.

I have to prepare for my parent conferences so I will post the supplies for my card tomorrow. Click here if you would like to place a Stampin’ Up! order!
Here are the supplies I used:
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Whisper White, and Pink Passion cardstock, Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Crazy For Cupcakes
Ink: Basic Black Classic
Accessories: Stampin' Write pens: Green Galore, Pixie Pink and Real Red, Modern Label punch, Heart to Heart punch, Eyelet Border punch, Large pewter eyelets, Sticky strip, small glue dots, pink brads, 1/4 inch Pretty in Pink grosgrain ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, Stampin' Dimensionals, Crop-A-Dile

Finally!

I finally have a card to share! The school year started three weeks ago and have just not had a moment to sit down and stamp. I actually had part of this card made months ago and finally finished it! I used the Big Shot Top Note Die and cut two pieces, one in blue and one in the Tea Party DSP (I love this paper and keep coming back to it). Then I trimmed the Tea Party paper so that the Ballet Blue would show through. A few accesories and I finished my card!

The Holiday Mini Catalog will be making its debut in a few weeks. Lots of fun new things! If you've ordered from me, you should be receiving it in the mail!

If you would like to host a workshop, email me and we can set a date! Thanks for visiting!

Another Cottage Wall Card

Here's another card using the same Cottage Wall paper. I used my Scallop Circle punch and then took the paper-piercing tool and poked holes around it. Again, the colors are not showing up very vibrant. I purchased a new light, an OTT light. Supposedly (hopefully) it will really show off the colors of my cards when I take pictures of them. I bought it and then found that it was much cheaper online. So, I am returning the one I bought at the store and waiting patiently for the other one to arrive. It shipped yesterday but shouldn't arrive until the 25th. Geez, that is a long time in the mailing system! Hope you have a good Friday!

Stamp Set: Great Friend

Paper: Cottage Wall DSP, Rich Razzleberry cardstock, Whisper White cardstock

Accessories: 1 3/8 inch circle punch, Eyelet border punch, Whisper White organza ribbon, Paper-piercing tool, Snail adhesive

Cottage Wall

This card was made using one of our new designer paper packs called Cottage Wall. It is actually hard to see in this picture how vibrant the colors really are. I'm addicted to Stampin' Up! punches and use at least one in every card I do. The butterfly is from the Great Friend stamp set and I have to say it is one of my favorites!

Hope your week is going well!

The purpose of my blog will be to post my stamping projects. It might take some time to figure out how to do this!
