Oh, Hello Paper Doily

It's the first day of April!  We had plenty of rain here yesterday so hopefully those May flowers are on the way!

I've seen so many cute cards using our new White Tea Lace Paper Doilies (129399) so I decided to purchase some and this is the card I made.  The base of my card is Raspberry Ripple which took me quite a while to warm up to and I am not sure why. It is so pretty.  My flowers are from the set Oh, Hello (in the Spring Catalog).  I colored my flowers using my Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green markers.  If you look closely, you'll see that they aren't the same shade.  After stamping the first flower I  ONLY re-inked the stem, huffed on it and stamped it again.  I punched them out with my 2 1/2 Circle punch, sponged around the edges with Gumball Green and used dimensionals to adhere it to the doily.

Gosh, time just got away from me today.  I meant to post this card this morning but I couldn't find a moment to sit down.  My Hostess Club group will be making this card this month.  It is a very quick and simple card but very striking.  This is a stamp set that I put off buying but I really like it.  Tomorrow I will have another card using the same set but with different colors and a different layout.

Bloomin' Marvelous

I love this set and these colors together - Gumball Green and Pacific Point.  My sentiment again comes from the set Made for You!   I also made this card using the colors Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Old Olive. I sent it off in the mail before taking a picture of it.  I can't wait to try some other color combinations!

Especially for You Kraft Box

Today I've decorated one of our Kraft boxes.  You can purchase 4 boxes for $2.95 AND they are made out of food-safe material.  If you have a catalog you can find them on page 161.  I decorated my sides and top with our More Amore Designer Series Paper and Primrose Petals card stock.  My oval scallop was cut out of Pool Party DSP and stamped with a sentiment from the set Made for You.  It is so quick and easy to put together.  Get some yummy chocolate or Almond Roca, place it inside and wrap it up with some Very Vanilla seam binding.  Who wouldn't love to receive candy wrapped up as pretty as can be??
