Sunflowers

I love my new banner! Michelle Laycock from Laycock Designs just finished designing it for me. It is so much fun to have something that is so pretty!

Here is my card for today. It is a 3x3 card that was inspired by Dawn Olchefske. You can check out the larger cards that she made here. She always has such nice things on her site.
I used our watercolor crayons and an aqua painter to color in my image. The stamp set is A Flower For All Seasons. I used my Big Shot and textured impressions folder to acheive the raised frame for my sunflowers. In the next few days I will post other 3x3 cards that I made. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sweet Treat

Here is a card I made using the Sweet Treat cups. Sorry if it is a little hard to see on the white background. I found the idea for this card from Mary Fish who does beautiful work. You can see her card here. I just changed a few things. She uses the small and large oval punch but I only had the large oval. I think it turned out nice. Next time I will sponge the petals a little bit more. I have never liked the look of sponging but after this card I am definitely hooked and will keep trying it out.

Sale-a-bration is almost over! You have until March 31st to earn free products with your $50 order. If you would like to place an order, please email me or go directly to my Stampin' Up! website. Thanks for looking today!

Happy Together #2

This is another card I made to swap in Reno. It is the same card I made several days ago but I used different colors (Chocolate Chip and Real Red). I finished the cards up in my hotel room and propped it up on my bed so I could take a picture of it! This stamp set is called Happy Together and I think it is one of my new favorites.

Reno

Yesterday I attended my first Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar in Reno. This is one of the cards I brought to swap with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators. I had a great time being in a room full of people who love to create cards and papercrafts as much as I do. I received many beautiful cards and have many new ideas that I want to try out when I get home!

I truly love my Big Shot and used it for a lot of my card. It is a big purchase but so worth it. I also own another machine that is not a Stampin' Up product but it can't emboss as the Big Shot machine does which is why I turn to it again and again. For this card I used the Polka Dot embossing folder and the Embosslit die Simple Flower. I will post the other products I used on the card when I get home!

Here is another card made with the Extra Large Two Step Bird Punch. This was made by Carmen who was one of the participants at the workshop I held on Saturday. If you look closely you can see the glitter and rhinestones that she added to the flowers! So pretty!
