Island Oasis Flower

This is a card I made using the Big Shot and the Bigz XL Flower Folds die. It makes four different sized flowers. I didn't use the largest one on this card. I also used the new Designer Series paper called Island Oasis which is now in the Summer Mini. For the textured design I used the Square Lattice embossing folder which is also used with Big Shot (this can also be found in the Summer Mini catalog). I made this for my Big Shot Club today. I have a group of women who are buying the Big Shot on the four month plan and they get four free classes from me! Today we are going to make this card along with some other goodies which I will show you in the next few days. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

Spring Pinwheel

Here is another pinwheel card we made at my Hostess Club a last week. I posted another pinwheel card a few months ago and you can see it here. For this card I used the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and the card base is Razzleberry. The scallop oval and base for my pinwheel is Melon Mambo cardstock. These are fun to make and so easy!

I want to say thank you to all of the military men and women who served and are serving our country. Thank you so much.

Second Stencil Card

Here's another card using the Elegant Trio stencil. This time I used Elegant Eggplant and Rose Red. I think this is such a beautiful combination. Both colors are so vivid and it is quite striking. I also used the Perfect Polka Dots impression folder. This embossing folder was in the Occasions Mini catalog but can still be ordered (#117335). I love this folder and have used it for so many of my cards. It just adds such an extra touch to the card. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me (see the email button on the right side of my blog). If you would like to place an order you can also email me or go directly to my Stampin' Up! website. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Elegant Flower

I have been so busy this month and my blog has been neglected. I am a teacher and between Open House and report cards, I haven't had a chance to play with my stamps like I would like to! I did have a Hostess Club meeting last week though and created this card for it. I used a stencil from the 2010 Definitely Decorative insert called Elegant Trio (page 11). You receive 3 stencils for $9.95. I used our sponge daubers to apply the ink from my stamp pad. I had a lot of fun making this! Tomorrow I will show you another card using the same stencil. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Thank you for stopping by!

Ink: Brilliant Blue classic ink

Paper: Brilliant Blue (retiring), Whisper White, Garden Green

Accessories: Big Shot, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, sponge dauber, Filigree brads, clear rhinestone brads, snail adhesive, Tag Corner Punch, Elegant Trio stencils, Filigree brads

The button is also from the Mini and are the Sending Love Epoxy Brads in Chocolate Chip. I got the idea for this card from Becky Roberts. You can see her card here. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wonderful Mother

I made this card using Vintage Vogue from the Occasions Mini. (Don't forget that this catalog is only good until April 30th and then we will have a brand new one!) I also used the Butterfly punch - for the bottom one (not sure if you can see it), I used Bashful Blue and for the one on top I used our cardstock vellum. After I made this I thought that the vellum butterfly would look really pretty if it were run through the Big Shot. I will post another one showing that look which is really beautiful. I used a half pearl from the Pretties Kit for the center of the butterfly and used a glue dot to adhere it. The paper is our Designer Series paper in Bashful Blue. This paper is also two sided as all of our other papers. Thank you for stopping by and hope you are having a great weekend!

Color Renovation!

Stampin' Up! announced on Tuesday that we will have some new color collections in July! Some colors are retiring, some In Colors are being brought back and there will be some brand new colors as well! Two of my favorite In Colors, Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo, will be staying and not retiring! This is exciting news! I can't wait to see the new colors. I will post more information later today but here is a chart that shows you the new collections!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter! Here is another 3x3 card that I made using "A Flower For All Seasons." I also used the watercolor crayons (these come in all 48 Stampin' Up colors) and the aqua painter. It is so relaxing to sit and color. I am hoping to spend some time today stamping (we celebrated Easter yesterday). If you would like to place an online order, just click the button to the right and it will take you right to my Stampin' Up! website. If you have any questions, please email me. Hope you have a wonderful day. Thank you for visiting!

Sunflowers

I love my new banner! Michelle Laycock from Laycock Designs just finished designing it for me. It is so much fun to have something that is so pretty!

Here is my card for today. It is a 3x3 card that was inspired by Dawn Olchefske. You can check out the larger cards that she made here. She always has such nice things on her site.
I used our watercolor crayons and an aqua painter to color in my image. The stamp set is A Flower For All Seasons. I used my Big Shot and textured impressions folder to acheive the raised frame for my sunflowers. In the next few days I will post other 3x3 cards that I made. Thanks so much for stopping by!
