Floral Button Buddies

Happy Monday to you!! I spent my weekend playing around in my craft room.  I wanted a card that would be easy for first time stampers and I think this card fits the bill.  I used the flower in Button Buddies and stamped it in Real Red and Pumpkin Pie (I saw this combination on the site of another stamper but I cannot recall her name).  I threaded white Baker's Twine through a button from the Brights collection and adhered it with several glue dots. My sentiment is from Kindness Matters and I used Chocolate Chip ink.  A quick but cute card!

Floral District Dahlia

My card today is made using the Dahlia fold.  I've shown cards on my blog before using this technique and it is one that I really, really like.  It is fun to try it with the different papers that Stampin' Up! carries.  This one uses the Floral District pack which is currently my very favorite!  Tomorrow I'll show you a card using another paper in this pack!
