Oh, Hello

Hi Friends!
Today's card is one that was inspired by a card I saw in Stampin! Success, a magazine for demonstrators.  It uses the Honeycomb embossing folder for the Big Shot which has become one of my favorite folders.  The stamp set I used is Oh, Hello.  I stamped the chevron pattern in Crumb Cake and used my Oval Framelits and Big Shot to cut it out.  To color the flower I used my Gumball Green and Elegant Eggplant Stampin' Write markers and applied the color directly to the stamp.  It is such an easy way to get different colors on a stamped image.  I made a little bow with Linen Thread and adhered it with a two-way glue pen.  I used dimensionals to apply the honeycomb layer to my card base to give it extra dimension.

Time for a Celebration!

Yes, it is time to celebrate because it is Sale-a-bration time!!  It's that time of the year when you can earn free products for every $50 you spend!! Woo hoo!!

The inspiration for my card came from Maggie Patterson.  In December she had a card like this using a Christmas theme.  I thought it was so cute and knew I wanted to try making my own card.  Can you see the little slot for the gift card on the left hand side?  We made this at my Customer Extravaganza and it was definitely a hit!!  The base of my card is 11 x 4 ¼ and I scored it at 2 ½ and 5 ½.  I used the Sunshine and Sprinkles Designer Series Paper.  Tonight I ordered the Oh, Whale stamp set and the Happy Whale Clearlits.  I think they will be so cute with this paper.  Can't wait until my order arrives! Butterflies!

Today's card is another version of the card I made HERE.  I wanted to use a lighter piece of cardstock for my larger oval so that the paper piercing would be easier to see.  We made this card yesterday at my Sale-a-bration Kickoff party.  Although you can't see it on this card, but you can on the other version, I glued one butterfly down and then attached the top one with glue dots.  One of my stampers yesterday used the other side of the punched butterfly to glue down and then the opposite side for the top butterfly.  It looked really cute!
