Tri-Fold Shutter Card

Today I have another Tri-fold Shutter card for you.  I used the same beautiful paper as the one HERE but I switched around the panels.  My cute little reindeer inside is from the set Jolly Bingo Bits.  There are so many different images in this set and I have definitely used it quite frequently in the last month! My sentiment was cut out with the Apothecary Accents Framelits and sponged with Gumball Green. This card would also be cute with photographs on some of the panels.  The beauty of this card is that it folds up and is the same size as a traditional card.

Season's Greetings

I wasn't sure if I was going to like these colors together but I love them!  I used Marina Mist and Elegant Eggplant.  My inspiration came from Catherine Pooler who brayered a card  with these colors but I sponged my color onto Whisper White cardstock.  First, I used my new stamp set, Snowflake Soiree (LOVE IT) and stamped the snowflakes with Versamark. My smallest snowflake on the greeting is from the set Jolly Bingo Bits.  I sprinkled white embossing powder and heated it up with my heat tool.  I never get tired of watching the magic happen when I emboss!!! After embossing, I sponged Marina Mist using a circular motion all over my card.  Then I came in with the Elegant Eggplant. When I was done, I took a tissue and wiped over the top of the card. The embossing resists the ink but I had to wipe away the extra ink sitting on top of the embossed images.   I did my greeting in the same way.  I was afraid the Elegant Eggplant was a bit too dark on the greeting but I like it! I made another one that I will post tomorrow with the same colors but it is a bit different. I misted my card with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint (mixed in a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol) and it glitters beautifully in person.

Watercolor Winter Ornaments

Another card today from my card class on Friday. I stamped the pine needles using the stamp set, Watercolor Winter.  Some of the pine needles look lighter because I stamped off on my grid paper several times before stamping on my card.  I used my 2-way glue pen to add Dazzling Diamonds (glitter) to the pine needles.  I love the sparkle!  Each ornament is popped up with dimensionals. Did you notice the Silver Glimmer paper at the very top of each ornament? My inspiration for this card came from Stamping and Blogging, a new online site with great ideas to get my creative juices flowing!

Another Stamp a Stack Card

Today I have another card that we made on Friday night.  This type of card is called a Tri-Fold Shutter.  We used the Be of Good Cheer DSP. I especially like the red and white paper on the side panels.  My little gingerbread man came from the set Jolly Bingo Bits.  There are so many different stamps in this set!  Another nice thing about this card is that it folds up and fits inside a regular sized envelope.

Santa Card

We made this at my Stamp a Stack last night.  We made four different cards and three of each design.  It was a fun evening!! In the next few days I will show the other three cards we made!  I'm off to go create more cards!  Have a great Saturday!
