Flower Fest

I am finally on vacation and have time to post cards that I've done over the past month! I made this card for my Hostess Club meeting on Thursday. I used the stamp set Flower Fest from the current mini catalog. I stamped the flowers with Versamark and then used white embossing powder. Using my sponge dauber I added Regal Rose to the center. I am really happy with the way it turned out! I'm looking forward to making the card with different colors and the other flowers that come in the set. Another reason to love this set is that many of the shapes have a coordinating punch! It makes the card very easy to put together. Thank you for stopping by! Vintage Vogue

This card uses a set that I haven't used in some time called Vintage Vogue. I used it for the flowers as well as the background on the Whisper White. I tried to post an Easter card a week ago and every time I tried to publish it, the program wouldn't work. Very frustrating. So, I am going to check and see if this works!

Patchwork Thank You

Today I have another 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 card that again is a patchwork design. This time I ran all of my Greenhouse Gala DSP, Concord Crush DSP, and Pear Pizzazz cardstock pieces through an embossing folder in my Big Shot. It is a pretty easy card to make. I also used 1/2 inch Stitched Poly Ribbon in Concord Crush. My sentiment was made using the Scallop Oval punch but the outside scallop was made using the Movers and Shapers Punch window. Inlaid Embossing Technique

Here is a card that is so bright and cheerful which is nice with all the rain we've had. Flowers will be popping up soon, I hope. My card "sits" on a Rose Red square scallop. The card itself is on Pacific Point. Before running my Whisper White cardstock through my Big Shot, I punched a Rose Red 5 Petal Flower with a Boho Blossom flower in the center with Daffodil Delight.

I used the Little Leaves Sizzlit and glued my two leaves underneath my flower. Then I ran it through my Big Shot using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder which really gives it a neat look. Thank you was stamped with Pacific Point on the Word Window punch and attached to the Modern Label punch. I popped it up with dimesionals. Easter Eggs

Easter will be here before you know it so here is a card I made with the new stamp set Easter Blossoms from the Occasions Mini. The eggs and the sentiment come from this set. I popped the eggs up with Stampin' Dimensionals as well as the sentiment, Happy Easter. I used Rose Red and Very Vanilla cardstock (Rose Red is one of my favorite colors). It is a cute card and I was able to make it prety quickly. This stamp set is only available until April 30th so be sure to order this before it is too late! Scallop Friend

I'm on a roll with my postings!! It is funny how you can start out making one card and end up with something completely different. That is what happened with this card although I am very happy with how it turned out. It was pretty quick and easy to make. I used my Big Shot, of course. The base is the Scallop Circle Bigz Die. I cut out the flower with Lap of Luxury DSP and Concord Crush cardstock using the Flower Folds die. I ran the base of the card and the middle flower in the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. I love the look that dimensions give and used them on each layer. I love our pearls and thought they gave it a nice finished look. Thank you for stopping by! Flower Quilt Card

Here's another card I worked on yesterday using the Fun Flowers die again. I cut out squares using the 1 1/4 inch punch out of Lap of Luxury DSP and Concord Crush cardstock. I actually worked on this for hours using three different colors of cardstock and two colors of DSP. I would try one pattern, not like it and try another and another . . . . . In the end this is what I decided upon. I ran the cardstock pieces through an embossing folder after I punched them out. It is quite a large card but will still fit in the envelopes that Stampin' Up! sells. The embossed pieces make the card feel really elegant. If you have any questions, please let me know. I had a chance to play today and created this card. The colors make me feel as though Spring is right around the corner! My inspiration came from a card made by Sage Kimble over at Stamping Madly. I used the new Fun Flowers Big Shot die to make the flower. I don't usually like to sponge color around the edges but I think it adds a nice touch to it. The paper is also from the Occasions Mini and is called Springtime Vintage. I love flowers so I am really enjoying this pack of paper. The sentiment is from a set called You're a Gem!
