Thinking of You Again, Friend

Are you ready for one more idea using the stamp Just Thinking, one of the new stamps in the Spring Catalog?  My inspiration to use panels came from a card I saw on Angie Juda's blog.  You could change it up and use strips of Designer Series Paper instead of embossed card stock.  It is a little hard to tell in the picture but I did stamp the image twice and then used my circle punch to cut out the center.  Using dimensionals pops it up and gives it a great effect!!

Time for a Celebration!

Yes, it is time to celebrate because it is Sale-a-bration time!!  It's that time of the year when you can earn free products for every $50 you spend!! Woo hoo!!

The inspiration for my card came from Maggie Patterson.  In December she had a card like this using a Christmas theme.  I thought it was so cute and knew I wanted to try making my own card.  Can you see the little slot for the gift card on the left hand side?  We made this at my Customer Extravaganza and it was definitely a hit!!  The base of my card is 11 x 4 ¼ and I scored it at 2 ½ and 5 ½.  I used the Sunshine and Sprinkles Designer Series Paper.  Tonight I ordered the Oh, Whale stamp set and the Happy Whale Clearlits.  I think they will be so cute with this paper.  Can't wait until my order arrives! Another Thinking of You

We made this card on Saturday at my Sale-a-bration class.  Several weeks ago I posted another card using this set and you can see it HERE.  I stamped the Thinking of You Friend two times, once in Daffodil Delight and again in Pacific Point.  I cut out the Pacific Point center using my 2 1/2 inch Circle punch.  I mounted each layer with dimensionals.  I don't know if you can see it but I used my paper piercer and the Festive Paper Piercing Pack around the Pacific Point window frame.  I really like the effect that the piercing gives the card.

Butterflies!

Today's card is another version of the card I made HERE.  I wanted to use a lighter piece of cardstock for my larger oval so that the paper piercing would be easier to see.  We made this card yesterday at my Sale-a-bration Kickoff party.  Although you can't see it on this card, but you can on the other version, I glued one butterfly down and then attached the top one with glue dots.  One of my stampers yesterday used the other side of the punched butterfly to glue down and then the opposite side for the top butterfly.  It looked really cute!

I had a Spring Catalog and Sale-a-bration Kickoff today at my home.  It was a great group of women and I enjoyed having them over to make cards!! Here's one of the cards we made.  It starts off with a piece of 4 1/4 x 11 inch piece of paper which is then scored at 3" and 8".  Then the two side panels fold in.  The little curly label shape with the heart has adhesive on one side so that the left side stays closed!  With a $50 order, you would be able to receive the cute Petite Curly Label punch absoulutely FREE!!  Or if you wanted the Pretty Petites stamp instead, you could get that FREE. My card today makes me smile.  I love all of the bright colors and it almost looks good enough to eat! My inspiration came from Stamp Academy, an online membership site that I joined. 

My sentiment is not exactly where I wanted it to go.  After I inked up my stamp pad and stamped, I touched my card and realized I still had ink on my hand which of course landed on my card, right near the very bottom of the card.  The decision where to put my sentiment was made.  I fanned out the scallop ovals so that it was good and covered.  I have to say that I like the look and will probably try it again!!  There are no mistakes when you are stamping!
